✬ Hey hey! ✬

I'm Bunny (they/them), AKA The Aphrodisian Witch! I'm a professional astrologer, witchcraft teacher and magical mentor with a taste for finding the misfit magicians in the spiritual community and helping them hone their magical gifts (and yes, this is my full time job!).

I'm a disabled, neurodivergent, non-binary priestess of Aphrodite who delights in finding ways to support my students and clients (most of who are magical misfits themselves) in crafting the most sustainable, powerful and PLEASURABLE witchcraft practices possible.

I've been practicing witchcraft for over a decade, and it's been my job for the past year or two; I now teach students and read for clients all over the world!

I also host NOT ANOTHER WITCH PODCAST, and I teach witchcraft over at BAD WITCH ACADEMY, my digital occult school (which is absolutely as fun as it sounds!).

My roots ✬

I discovered witchcraft around the age of 14-15, after stumbling upon Wicca on Tumblr (in true 2010's style). I researched what I could find, joined some local groups - and it definitely felt more aligned to my spiritual views and what I was craving from a spiritual practice than my research into monotheistic religions.... but it still didn't quite fit.
For years, I'm stumbled in and out of my spiritual practice. Wicca felt more and more unaligned with my ethics and beliefs, but I didn't think I *could* practice anything else; I quit a few times, to be pulled back, feeling like I was missing something, but unable to find that "thing" that clicked with me.

  • I struggled to build consistency in my practice.
  • I felt untethered and unfulfilled.
  • And I felt bored as fuck.

And then I stumbled into a connection with Aphrodite, the Ancient Greek & Cypriot goddess of love, lust, art, beauty, queerness, rage, the ocean, the earth, and SO much more.

And BOY, did she shake some shit up!

After a shaky start to Aphrodite work, I quickly became enamoured with my witchcraft practice, free of any significant tie to Wicca, and immersed in Aphrodisian and pleasure-centered witchcraft.

Connecting to Aphrodite changed the game: not just for my witchcraft practice, but my whole life. I found new, innovative ways to make my practice as sustainable, enjoyable and POWERFUL as possible. Not only did I enjoy my witchcraft practice more, but I got more success with my spellwork. And then I started talking about my journey online... turns out, a lot of other people felt similar ways to me, and were craving the same tools (and here I was thinking I was the only one!).

And so, The Aphrodisian Witch was born! Originally, I started out as Rad Gurl Designs, doing Aphrodite inspired portraits.... but as Aphrodite tends to do, She quickly showed my purpose to me and I clarified my path. I started teaching witchcraft & occult studies, and now, over 4 years in, I've supported hundreds of clients and students build more sustainable, pleasurable, fun practices that FEEL like their own.

This is not to say it's been all sunshine and roses. There have been times (and there still are!) when I feel disconnected from my inner witch, disconnected from the Universe. However, I now have tools to help bring me back to my unique magic; and it's these tools I teach to my students and clients every day!

MY STANCES AND VALUES

here's what I'm about ↓

Accessibility + transparency

Witchcraft is rooted in folk practice, and so I feel incredibly passionate about making my services and teachings as accessible as possible; in a financial sense, and with keeping easy access to teachings in mind too. Similarly, the gatekeeping that happens within the astrological field is something that turned me off for YEARS; so I feel pulled to disrupt that norm within my work and business.

Community + connection

The Western witchcraft scene has a major individuality problem - there are waaaaay too many folks approaching this work from an individualistic point of view. As someone who felt unsupported, looked over, and unwelcome in mainstream spiritual communities, I am eager to cultivate spaces where magical misfits can gather, individual practitioners connected by a wider mycelial network of magic.

Flexibility + innovation

Flexibility is key to my practice; as a disabled & neurodivergent witch, if my practice isn't fluid, it isn't sustainable. And so, I foster the same attitudes within my whole library of work. With flexibility, comes innovation and new ways of going about our magical practices - it is from this innovative space that true magical and creative genius is born!

Empowerment + accountability

At its core, my practice and beliefs all revolve around empowerment; of myself, you, and the collective. I feel so passionate about instilling self-trust, self-faith and self-belief in anyone who comes into contact with my work. I commit to rooting my practice in accountability (and encourage my students & clients to do the same) and I am consistently working towards how I can utilise my privilege to further my uplift marginalised community members, neighbours & kin.

And... I'm not perfect.

I'm very aware that at some point in my journey (and all our journeys!), that I'm going to get some things wrong. I'm going to mess up SOMEWHERE, because we all do! I am someone who walks through this life with A LOT of privilege. And whilst I always try my best to align my actions with my values, and try to practice allyship consistently, I'm not always going to get it right.

However, I hope that when that does happen, I can model myself in a way that can help others do the same; by actively listening and centering marginalised voices, by trying to limit my own defensiveness, responding in a sympathetic and open manner, followed by self-reflection and action. I am on my own journey of discovery, learning and unlearning- but I'm very happy you're all along for the ride with me!

What you can expect when you work with me

  • To be met where you're at- no judgement from me. I'm just happy you're here!
  • You can expect to have a supportive, sympathetic, trauma-aware environment that is focused on you achieving your own powerful, authentic self & practice, whatever that looks like. My work is gender expansive, filtered through a queer lens with a collaborative edge, and actively deconstructing internalised systems that hinder us.
  • Enthusiasm! I am incredibly enthusiastic and passionate about my offerings and the topics they revolve around. You can expect to leave feeling pumped and empowered.
  • A chilled, fun, playful experience, that focuses on supporting and validating your unique self and magic. I'm a self-professed weirdo, and I love helping others embrace their own weirdo self in an open, warm and accessible manner.
  • To feel empowered to explore your unique take on magic, your connection with your inner witch, to move into deeper intimacy with the Universe and magic around you, and to PLAY!
  • To LEARN. I adore sharing knowledge, so you can expect to come away having learnt something (or lots of things!).

  • AND: expect me to reflect stuff back to you. I don't have all the answers, and I am here to support you in fostering deep self-trust in your own inner witch (not mine!).

My lineage

I didn't come to this path in a vacuum. Hundreds of practitioners and non-practitioners alike have had an impact on my personal practice, and therefore my teachings and offerings. These practitioners span not only the occult scene, but the astrological communities, pleasure-centered spaces, and more.

Whilst it would be impossible to name every person who has shaped my practice, below are some people who have had a considerable impact on me with their work (in no particular order):

These are some of the folks that have been important for me and my practice; this is not a complete list! Similarly, I don't agree with everything that these folks have said/taught: their teachings simply had an impact on how I viewed magic & other aspects of my work.
